Engineering work is taking place between Morpeth and Alnmouth, closing all lines.

CrossCountry

Rail replacement road transport will operate between Morpeth and stations to Edinburgh.

LNER

An hourly service will run to / from Scotland via Carlisle, extending journey times by up to 90 minutes. Other services between London Kings Cross and Scotland will run between London Kings Cross and Newcastle only.

Customers may use CrossCountry trains / replacement buses for stations between Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Northern

Saturday, buses will be provided between Morpeth and Chathill.

Sunday, there are no alterations.

ScotRail

Buses will replace trains between Dunbar and Edinburgh.
