Engineering work is taking place between Manchester Oxford Road and Birchwood, closing all lines.

Northern:

Train services that usually run between Manchester Oxford Road and Liverpool Lime Street will be amended to run between Birchwood and Liverpool Lime Street only.

Buses will replace trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Birchwood.

East Midlands Railway:

It is not yet known how East Midlands Railway will be affected by this engineering work.
