A fault on a train between Cleethorpes and Barton-on-Humber means services are unable to run between these stations.

Rail replacement transport is operating in place of cancelled services.

A replacement train has been sourced and service is expected to resume with the 13:07 Grimsby Town to Barton-on-Humber service.

How does this affect my train?

Trains between Cleethorpes and Barton-on-Humber can not run until the replacement train is in position.

At present we are expecting the timetable to resume on this route in the next three hours. As soon as the problem is fixed the priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again.

How do I get where I need to be?

You should continue to travel as originally planned as buses have been sourced to keep you on the move. Your journey may be delayed by up to 60 minutes when using rail replacement transport.

East Midlands Railway currently have the following replacement bus services arranged:

  • 10:10 Grimsby to Barton-on-Humber
  • 10:30 Barton-on-Humber to Cleethorpes
