Engineering work is taking place between Hadfield and Manchester Piccadilly, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

The 22:47 Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly service will be diverted, not calling at New Mills Central, Strines, Marple, Romiley, Bredbury, Brinnington, Reddish North, Ryder Brow, Belle Vue and Ashburys. A replacement bus will run from Chinley to Manchester Piccadilly, serving these stations.

The 23:15 New Mills Central to Manchester Piccadilly will be replaced by a bus throughout.
