Engineering work is taking place between Severn Tunnel Junction and Patchway, closing some lines.

The following amendments to train services will operate:-

The 18:38 Plymouth to Cardiff Central will divert after Filton Abbey Wood to terminate at Bristol Parkway. A replacement bus will run from Bristol Parkway to Newport and Cardiff Central.

The 20:23 Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central will terminate Bristol Temple Meads. A replacement bus will run from Bristol Temple Meads to Filton Abbey Wood, Patchway, then stopping to disembark only at Severn Tunnel Junction, Newport and Cardiff Central.

The 22:00 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads will not run and will be replaced by a bus from
Cardiff Central, picking up only at Newport and Severn Tunnel Junction, before calling at Patchway to pick up and set down, then disembarking only at Filton Abbey Wood and Bristol Temple Meads.

Road journey time Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads calling as above is 112 minutes.

The 22:47 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads will not run and will be replaced by a bus from
Cardiff Central, picking up only at Newport, to Bristol Temple Meads.

Road journey time Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads calling at Newport is 75 minutes.
