Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Bedwyn, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

As a result:

  • The 19:04 Paignton to London Paddington will call additionally at Hungerford and Kintbury and will arrive / depart Newbury and beyond later than normal
  • The 21:37 Bedwyn to Newbury will not run
  • The 21:57 Newbury to Bedwyn will not run and will be replaced by road transport departing earlier at 21:55
  • The 22:08 Newbury to Reading will depart much earlier at 21:35 and will not call at Reading West. Road transport will operate at 22:08 from Newbury to Reading, calling all stations

After 22:00 until the end of service each night, buses will replace trains between Reading and Bedwyn.

Additionally on Tuesday to Friday mornings, The 05:31 Bedwyn to London Paddington will not run. You should travel by later services.
