Amended services between Swansea and Carmarthen on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October

Engineering work is taking place between Llanelli and Carmarthen, closing all lines. ​​​​​​​

Great Western Railway:

Saturday:

From London Paddington:

• The 06:48, 08:48, 10:48, 12:48, 14:48 and 17:18 London Paddington to Carmarthen service will terminate at Swansea.
• The 08:15 Swansea to Carmarthen service will not run.

To London Paddington:

• The 07:25, 09:32, 11:32, 13:25, 15:28 and 17:20 Carmarthen to London Paddington services will start at Swansea.
• The 19:19 Carmarthen to Swansea service will not run.

You should use alternative Transport for Wales services to complete your journey.

Sunday:

From London Paddington:

• The 09:31 (departing 09:30), 11:46 (departing 11:45) and 13:46 (departing 13:45) London Paddington to Carmarthen services will terminate at Swansea.
• The 10:27 Swansea to Carmarthen service will not run.

To London Paddington:

• The 11:27 Carmarthen to London Paddington service will start from Swansea.
• The 14:22, 16:30 and 19:20 Carmarthen to London Paddington services will start from Swansea.

On Sunday only, rail replacement buses will run between:

• Swansea and Carmarthen calling at Llanelli and Pembrey & Burry Port

It is not yet known how Transport for Wales will be affected.
