Engineering work is taking in and around Sheffield station, closing some lines.

CrossCountry:

Trains will divert via an alternative route between Chesterfield and Sheffield and will also call additonally at Doncaster. Journey times will be extended by one hour.

East Midlands Railway:

Intercity Service between London St Pancras International and Sheffield will run to an amended timetable.

Trains will be diverted between Chesterfield and Sheffield extending journey times. 

Regional Services between Nottingham and Liverpool / Manchester will be diverted and will not call at Dore & Totley or Sheffield.

Services heading towards Liverpool will be delayed at Chesterfield and then diverted to return to their regular running times from Grindleford forwards.

Services heading towards Nottingham will be held at Chesterfield to return to their regular running times.

Customers for Sheffield to change at Chesterfield for EMR Intercity services (which will be diverted via an alternative route to Sheffield).with extended journey times. 

Northern:

It is not yet known how Northern are affected by these engineering works.

TransPennine Express:

It is not yet known how TransPennine Express are affected by these engineering works.
