Overnight engineering work is taking place in the Edge Hill area closing access into the TransPennine Express maintenance depot at Edge Hill.
As a result of trains not being able to access the depot, the following alterations will apply:
Monday to Thursday:
- The 19:30 Edinburgh to Liverpool Lime Street will terminate at Manchester Victoria.
- The 20:24 Liverpool Lime Street to Edinburgh will terminate at Newcastle.
- The 20:30 Edinburgh to Manchester Airport will terminate at Newcastle.
- The 23:08 Liverpool Lime Street to York will start at Manchester Victoria.
Tuesday to Friday
- The 05:20 Liverpool Lime Street to Edinburgh will start from Newcastle.
- The 06:00 Stalybridge to Liverpool Lime Street will not run.   Â

There is no alternative transport between station where trains have been part or fully cancelled.Â
