Amended morning trains in the Newbury / Bedwyn area on Sunday 14 April

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Theale, closing some lines on Sunday morning.

As a result:

Local trains:

The 08:06 Reading to Newbury service will be replaced by an earlier bus from Reading (at 07:55) to Newbury, calling at all stations except Newbury Racecourse.

The 08:34 Reading to Bedwyn service will start from Newbury, connecting from the 07:55 Reading to Newbury bus service.

Long distance trains:

The 07:51 London Paddington to Penzance service will divert between Reading and Westbury, not calling at Newbury or Pewsey.

The 08:51 London Paddington to Penzance service will start earlier than usual at 08:44, and will additionally call at Newbury and Pewsey.
