Engineering work is taking place between the Manchester Victoria and Liverpool Lime Street areas closing some lines overnight from Monday to Thursday. The work is scheduled to finish at 05:30 Friday morning.  

Monday to Thursday

• The 21:00 Newcastle to Liverpool Lime Street service will be diverted via Manchester Piccadilly, not calling at Manchester Victoria, Newton-le-Willows and Lea Green. 
• The 21:46 Scarborough to Manchester Victoria service will be diverted to terminate at Manchester Piccadilly.
• The 22:00 Newcastle to Manchester Airport service will not call at Manchester Victoria.

Tuesday to Friday

• The 05:03 Manchester Airport to Newcastle service will be diverted, not calling at Manchester Oxford Road or Manchester Victoria. This train will depart Manchester Piccadilly later than usual, at 05:22.
• The 05:05 York to Manchester Airport service will not call at Manchester Victoria or Manchester Oxford Road.
• The 05:20 Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle service will depart earlier than usual, at 04:57. This train will be diverted, not calling at Lea Green, Newton-le-Willows or Manchester Victoria. This train will additionally call at Manchester Piccadilly at 05:40, and Stalybridge at 06:03.
• The 05:48 Manchester Airport to Middlesbrough service will be diverted, not calling at Manchester Oxford Road or Manchester Victoria. This train will depart Manchester Piccadilly later than usual, at 06:13.
