Amended late night / early morning services between Cardiff Central / Port Talbot Parkway and Bridgend from Monday 5 to Friday 9 February

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Cardiff Central and Bridgend and also between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway, closing some lines. ​​​​​​​

Monday to Thursday:

• The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – NOT calling) departing Bridgend and beyond a few minutes later than normal. On Wednesday and Thursday the train will incur a few minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.
• The 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea will use this route as normal (via Ninian Park – NOT calling). On Wednesday and Thursday the train will incur a few minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.
• The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea (also diverted between Swindon and Bristol Parkway Monday, Wednesay and Thursday) will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – NOT calling) departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal. On Wednesday and Thursday the train will incur a few minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.

Tuesday to Friday:

• The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington will arrive/depart Bridgend a few minutes later than normal. Normal timings departing Cardiff Central and beyond.
