Engineering work is taking place between Manchester and Preston resulting in the closure of all lines.

The 20:31 London Euston to Preston service on Saturday will be replaced by the 20:31 London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly service.

There will be rail replacement coaches in operation between Crewe and Preston (non-stop service) as well as Crewe and Warrington Bank Quay and Wigan North Western.

The 09:00 Preston to London Euston service on Sunday will start at Warrington Bank Quay at the booked time.

The 10:17 Preston to Birmingham New Street service on Sunday will start from Wigan North Western at the booked time.

There will be rail replacement coaches departing Preston at 08:10 and Wigan North Western at 08:30 and both will run directly to Warrington Bank Quay.
