All lines have now reopened following a broken down freight train at Caldicot. Trains running between Gloucester and Cardiff Central in both directions may continue to be cancelled, delayed by up to 50 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 08:30.
Please note that engineering work is taking place between Severn Tunnel Junction and Patchway which means no trains will run through the Severn Tunnel.
