The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for rain and wind in parts of England, Wales and Scotland on Sunday 23 February.
The forecasted weather may cause trains to be disrupted:
- Heavy rainfall can cause flooding that results in tracks being underwater and embankments being damaged, causing potential landslips
- Flooding can affect points and signalling equipment, which allow trains to move from one line to another
Advice for customers:
Please check before you travel and allow more time for your journey on affected days. Speed restrictions may be in place which can cause delays and cancellations
