Lines have now reopened following a fault with the signalling system at Aldershot. While service recovers, trains running between Alton and Guildford / Woking / Ascot may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 25 minutes. Disruption is expected until 18:00.
What South Western Railway Are Doing About It
Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:
- Trains from Alton to Waterloo may run non-stop from Woking to London Waterloo due to being delayed in the Aldershot area.
