Major d isruption between London Kings Cross and Cambridge / Peterborough expected until the end of the day

A person has been hit by a train between London Kings Cross and Stevenage. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. Trains may be cancelled, majorly delayed or revised until the end of the day.

You can use your tickets on the following services:

• Avanti West Coast between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly in both directions until further notice.
• Transpennine Express via any reasonable route until further notice.
• Northern via any reasonable route until further notice.
• London North Eastern Railway via any reasonable route until further notice.

Staff are working with the emergency services and Network Rail in this matter.

At this time, it is advised to not travel, as it can't be guaranteed that you can get to your destination at the moment.

This will involve routes between :

• London and Peterborough
• London and Cambridge
• This will also very heavily impact services betwen London and Ely / Kings Lynn, but it is still advised to not travel on this route

• London Underground services between London St Pancras International / London Kings Cross and London Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale for connections with Greater Anglia and London Overground services.
