Engineering work is taking place overnight between Deansgate and Birchwood and also between Birchwood and Hunts Cross, closing some lines.
As a result the following amendments will apply:
- The 22:47 Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street service will be replaced by a bus throughout.
- The 22:49 Warrington Central to Manchester Oxford Road service will call at Padgate, Birchwood, Glazebrook, Irlam and Urmston only. A rail replacement bus service will run between Birchwood and Manchester Oxford Road, calling at stations normally served by the train.
- The 23:27 Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street service will be replaced by a bus throughout.
- The 23:36 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly service will be replaced by a bus throughout.
