Engineering work is taking place between Birmingham New Street and Water Orton all weekend, closing all lines.
As a result the following amendments will apply:
- Trains between Birmingham New Street and Leicester / Stansted Airport will start / terminate at Coleshill Parkway.
- Trains between Nottingham and Cardiff Central will operate between Nottingham and Coleshill Parkway (Saturday) / Derby (Sunday) and Birmingham New Street and Cardiff Central.
- Trains to / from Scotland / North East will divert via an alternative route not calling at Tamworth. Journey times will be extended by one hour.
Rail replacement buses will run between:
- Birmingham New Street and Nuneaton (calling at Water Orton and Coleshill Parkway)
- Burton-on-Trent and Tamworth
- Birmingham New Street and Tamworth
