Engineering work is taking place between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street, closing all lines.
A 2 hourly bus service will run between Chester and Liverpool South Parkway, calling at Helsby, Frodsham and Runcorn.
Customers should use Merseyrail services to travel between Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool Lime Street.
