A train has hit an obstruction on the track between Barnsley and Huddersfield resulting in all lines being blocked.
Trains between these stations are currently suspended. This is expected to continue until approximately 12:00.
Customer Advice:
To help you with your journey, customers can use alternative Northern services to travel between Sheffield, Meadowhall, Barnsley and Leeds, changing at Leeds for onward connections to Huddersfield.
Rail replacement buses have also been requested to operate between Barnsley and Huddersfield. Further information will be provided once these are confirmed.
