A points failure at London Waterloo has resulted in some lines to and from the station being closed. Consequently, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
The following alterations will be necessary:
- 15:20 Weymouth to London Waterloo will terminate at Basingstoke.
- 15:45 Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo will terminate at Guildford.
- 16:30 London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour will start from Guildford at 17:04.
- 17:23 London Waterloo to Basingstoke will start from Surbiton at 17:39.
- 17:54 Basingstoke to London Waterloo will terminate at Woking.18:02 London Waterloo to Farnham has been cancelled.
- 18:17 London Waterloo to Haslemere will start from Woking at 18:44.
- 18:39 London Waterloo to Portsmouth harbour (via Eastleigh) will start at Basingstoke at 19:30.
- 19:15 London Waterloo to Southampton Central (via Havant) will start from Woking at 19:45.
Further alterations will be required and will appear here once known. Due to this issue, trains at London Waterloo may arrive on to/leave from different platforms to usual - please check before you board.
We anticipate that disruption will continue until the end of service.
Additional information:
Network Rail, who own and maintain the railway infrastructure, have been advised of this issue and their engineers are not able to access the points to investigate the issue until after evening peak.
