You’ll get an e-mail from us with your unique voucher code a week after your journey* so all you need to do is enter your journey details in the ‘Buy tickets’ panel at the top of this page and press search.
At the checkout, you’ll be asked to enter the voucher code and the discount will automatically be applied to all eligible train tickets. All Grand Central journeys are highlighted in orange on the results page.

Good to know
The 20% discount is available for Grand Central Advance, Anytime and Off-Peak train tickets only, which are exclusively for use on Grand Central trains.
Journeys must start or end in London
You'll need to be opted in to receive Grand Central marketing emails to receive your discount - you can manage your preferences here.
One discount code per customer will be issued within any seven day period.
If part of your journey is with another operator then you must buy a separate ticket for that part of the route.
Discounts are not currently valid with dedicated GC & Connections fares
Bookings made with the discount code are for a maximum of 9 people travelling
This offer is only available online
To receive the discount:
- The date of travel must be the same for all outward journeys and the same for all return journeys.
- All tickets purchased in the transaction must depart from and arrive at the same outward and return destinations.
*Please note the 20% discount e-mail will only be sent to customers who are opted in to our communications and 7 days after they have taken the final leg of their booked journey. If you have purchased an open return ticket, the discount code will be issued seven days after the expiry of the return leg of your journey - ordinarily this is 37 days after the outward portion of your journey.
