Engineering work is taking place between Wembley Stadium and Gerrards Cross, closing all lines between these stations.

As a result, Chiltern Railways will be operating a heavily amended timetable and customers are advised to allow extra time to complete their journey, as journey times are expected to be considerably longer. Changes are as follows:

• 1 train per hour will run between London Marylebone and Banbury / Birmingham Moor Street (trains will be diverted via an alternative route between London Marylebone and Banbury)
• 1 train per hour will run between Gerrards Cross and Birmingham Snow Hill
• 2 trains per hour will run between Gerrards Cross and Oxford
• 2 trains per hour will run directly between London Marylebone and Amersham / Aylesbury / Ashbury Vale Parkway
• 1 train per hour will run between London Marylebone and Amersham / Aylesbury, calling at intermediate stations
• A shuttle train service will run between Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon / Birmingham Moor Street

Alternative travel advice:
Rail replacement buses will be in operation on the following routes:

• between Amersham and High Wycombe (customers can use this rail replacement bus service to connect with London Underground services)
• between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and Bicester Village
• between Princes Risborough and Monks Risborough / Little Kimble / Aylesbury
• between Gerrards Cross and Denham / Hillingdon / West Ruislip (customers can use this rail replacement bus service to connect with London Underground services)

Customers may also use their tickets on London Underground services on the following routes:

• Metropolitan line between Hillingdon / Amersham and Baker Street
• Bakerloo line between Wembley Central and Oxford Circus
• Central line between West Ruislip and Oxford Circus
