Engineering work is taking place between Carnforth and Barrow-in-Furness, closing some lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Wednesday:

The 22:06 Lancaster to Barrow-in-Furness service will be replaced throughout.

Monday to Thursday:

The 22:10 Manchester Airport to Barrow-in-Furness service will terminate at Preston. A replacement bus will run between Preston and Barrow-in-Furness.

Tuesday to Friday:

The 04:53 Barrow-in-Furness to Preston service will not run. A replacement bus will run between Barrow-in-Furness and Preston, departing Barrow-in-Furness at 04:34 in order to connect with Preston to London Virgin Trains services.
