A problem in the depot at Bedford means fewer trains are able to run on the line via Sutton. As a result, some trains running between Luton and Sutton may be cancelled.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Can you tell me more about the incident?
On Friday, Thameslink were advised that depot staff would be unavailable at Bedford for most of today, Christmas Eve. This has particularly affected the availability of trains which serve the route between Luton and Sutton. Staff have now been resourced, but unfortunately the contingency plans for the closure of the depot have already been put in place. It is extremely difficult to now reposition all of our trains and crews to run the full service, so there will still be cancellations.
