Due to a fault on a train at Effingham Junction some lines are blocked.

Whats Going On

Train services running through this station may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until 22:00 04/06.

What we're doing about it

We have been informed that a train has developed a fault at Effingham Junction. This means that the lines towards Surbiton and Epsom are currently blocked. The train crew are in contact with our fleet maintenance team who are investigating and working towards fixing the fault.

Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:

  • Guildford to London Waterloo via Cobham will be diverted via Woking.

  • Guildford to London Waterloo via Epsom will be diverted via Woking.

We have arranged replacement buses to run on the following routes:

One service to run in both directions between Horsley, Effingham Junction, Cobham & Stoke D'Arbernon, Oxshott, Claygate, Hinchley Wood & Surbiton

One service to run in both directions Horsley, Effingham Junction, Bookham and Leatherhead

Services are currently on route.
