A shortage of train crew on the London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway network is disrupting various routes this weekend.

Services may be cancelled at short-notice until the end of the day on Sunday 27 October.

Any routes affected or travel advice will be published below:

Buses replace trains between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey until approximately 15:15

Train services are suspended between these stations. Rail replacement transport, operated by Lucketts coaches, is in operation to help with your journey.

Additionally, tickets will be accepted on Arriva Buses between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey at no extra cost.

Buses replace trains Bedford and Bletchley until the end of the day

Services are suspended on between these stations for today. Road transport will run in place of cancelled services, these will operate between calling at all stations and running non-stop between some stations.

The semi-fast coaches are operated by PMCH Coaches and will only all at Bedford, Bedford St Johns, Stewartby, Lidlington, Ridgmont, Woburn Sands, Bow Brickhill and Bletchley

The coaches calling at all stations are operated by Tates Coaches.

Disruption between Shrewsbury and Birmingham until the end of Sunday 27 October

Services running between these stations may be cancelled or revised.

Rail replacement transport (operated by Stagecoach) will operate between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton in both directions until further notice.

Ticket restrictions have been lifted so you may use alternate London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway services between Wolvehampton and Birmingam New Street.

Disruption through Birmingham Snow Hill until the end of Sunday 27 October

Services running through Birmingham Snow Hill may be cancelled or revised. Some services will be replaced by buses on this line today, please plan your journey before you travel.
