Engineering work is taking place between Doncaster and Peterborough, closing all lines from 13:00 on Saturday 30 November until 12:00 on Sunday 1 December. As such, the following train service changes will be in place:

East Midlands Railway:

Trains between Peterborough and Doncaster via Lincoln Central will be retimed, due to a number of train services on the East Coast Mainline diverting via Lincoln Central.

On Saturday 30 November, train services between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich will run as two separate services: between Liverpool Lime Street and Nottingham; and also between Nottingham and Norwich. After 13:00, trains between Nottingham and Norwich will be diverted and will not call at Grantham, extending journey times by approximately 15 minutes. In addition, trains between Nottingham and Skegness will not call at Grantham but will call instead at Bottesford. Rail replacement buses will run between Bottesford and Grantham. 

On Sunday 1 December, all Sunday morning services between Nottingham and Grantham will not run between Bottesford and Grantham. Rail replacement buses will run between Bottesford and Grantham to help you complete your journeys.

Grand Central:

A reduced timetable will be in operation, with any running trains diverting away from their usual route via Lincoln Central. Journey times between Sunderland / Bradford Interchange and London Kings Cross will be extended by around an hour, and trains will be retimed to run earlier / later than usual.

Hull Trains:

An amended timetable will be in operation. Trains will be divert via Lincoln Central, not calling at Retford and Grantham. Journey times will be extended by around an hour, and trains will be retimed to run earlier / later than usual.

LNER:

It is not yet known how LNER will be affected by this engineering work.
