A shortage of train crewe between Oxenholme Lake District and Windermere means fewer trains are able to run on this line from the start of service on tomorrow until 08:00.
As a result of this, trains may be cancelled. This is expected until 08:00 tomorrow, Tuesday 8 October.
The following services will be cancelled:
- 06:19 Oxenholme Lake District - Windermere
- 07:28 Oxenholme Lake District - Windermere
- 06:43 Windermere - Oxenholme Lake District
- 07:55 Windermere - Oxenholme Lake District
Alternative travel advice:
Northern are currently looking to source rail replacement buses to operate in place of any cancelled trains. Further information will be published once these are confirmed.
