There is a fault with the Telecommunication system at multiple level crossings between Ely and Norwich. As a result of this, lines between Ely and Norwich are closed. Trains between Ely and Norwich are unable to run and will be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 20:00.

East Midlands Railway are currently looking at alternative arrangements to keep you on the move. Please remember that this can take time and be assured that the team are working tirelessly to arrange this as quickly as possible for you.
If you are at Nottingham travelling to Norwich, you are advised to travel via London St Pancras International and then use Greater Anglia services to Norwich from London Liverpool Street. This is likely to take between 2 and 3 hours longer to complete this journey.
If you are at Norwich and wish to travel to Nottingham, you can travel on Greater Anglia into London Liverpool Street and then head to London St Pancras International for northbound services to Nottingham. This is likely to take between 2 and 3 hours longer to complete this journey.
You can also use your ticket to travel on the London Underground if you have been diverted via London. If your ticket is digital, or has a QR code, you will need to show this to gate-line staff to be able to enter / exit the Underground.
If you are travelling between Ely and Norwich, East Midlands Railway are trying to source rail replacement buses, these have not been confirmed yet.
