Lines have now reopened following a broken down freight train at Westbury. However, whilst service recovers, trains may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes.
We anticipate disruption will continue until 14:30.

South Western Railway are accepting Great Western Railway customers between Salisbury and London Waterloo. This will help any customers who can only get as far as Westbury. You may travel down to Salisbury and change there for a connecting service. You may also travel up to Bath Spa and change there for an onward connection towards London Paddington. Please note these Portsmouth to Cardiff services will be very busy.
