Some lines have now reopened following a trespass incident between Birmingham International and Coventry. Whilst normal service resumes, trains running between these stations may still be delayed by up to 30 minutes or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 16:00.

You can use your ticket, at no extra cost, with the following operators:

• CrossCountry between Stafford and Birmingham New Street in both directions
• London Northwestern Railway between Stafford and Birmingham New Street in both directions

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

You may use your ticket on National Express West Midlands services between Birmingham New Street and Coventry at no extra cost.
