Lines have reopened following a safety inspection on a freight train at Ingatestone. Trains running between Shenfield and Chelmsford are returning to normal but may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
Normal service is expected by 19:00.

Trains have been disrupted between Shenfield and Chelmsford while safety checks into a potential fault on a freight train were being investigated at Ingatestone. No fault was found on the train and the line has now reopened.

- London Liverpool Street - Braintree
- London Liverpool Street - Colchester Town
- London Liverpool Street - Clacton-on-Sea
- London Liverpool Street - Ipswich
- London Liverpool Street - Norwich
Services between Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria may also be impacted due to congestion in the Shenfield area.
