Can you tell me more about the incident?
A trespasser was reported between Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges. While the emergency services attended to remove the person from the track, power to the railway lines had to be turned off. This prevented any trains from running through the area.
Sussex Police and the British Transport Police have now left the area, and following the completion of safety checks, the power has been restored to the area. Trains can begin to run between Gatwick and Three Bridges.
We'd like to remind all that trespassing is highly dangerous and illegal. Please remember to stay safe whilst travelling on trains.
