Industrial action is planned by Tube train drivers who are members of the RMT Union. If the strike goes ahead, London Underground services will be affected at the following times:
- Tuesday 24 August - from 12:00 midday until the end of service
- Wednesday 25 August - from start of service until 11:59
- Thursday 26 August - from 12:00 midday until the end of service
- Friday 27 August - from start of service until 11:59.
London Underground plan to run as many trains as possible, but it is likely that there will be no service, or very limited services on all lines. More information on the strike, and transport alternatives, is available on the TfL website.
Impact on National Rail services:
TfL Rail are warning that their services are likely to be very busy if the strike goes ahead.
Other National Rail services in the central London area are also likely to be very busy, as London Underground customers will be trying to find alternative travel options.
Further information and advice will be posted here when available.
