The RMT and TSSA unions have confirmed that their members will take industrial action on Thursday 18 and Saturday 20 August.
East Midlands Railway will be operating a significantly reduced service and ask customers to only travel by rail if necessary.
Thursday 18 August:
East Midlands Railway will operate only between 07:30 and 18:30 and only on the routes and frequencies below. All other routes will be closed and no replacement buses will be provided:
- One train per hour between Nottingham and London St Pancras International
- One train per hour between Sheffield and London St Pancras International
- One train per hour between Derby and Matlock
- One train per hour between Derby and Nottingham
- One train per hour between Leicester and Nottingham
Friday 19 August:
Service will start up later than usual, at around 07:00, and there will be some cancellations throughout the day.
Saturday 20 August:
East Midlands Railway will operate only between 07:30 and 18:30 and only on the routes and frequencies below. All other routes will be closed and no replacement buses will be provided:
- One train per hour between Nottingham and London St Pancras International
- One train per hour between Sheffield and London St Pancras International
- One train per hour between Derby and Matlock
- One train per hour between Derby and Nottingham
Sunday 21 August:
A normal service is expected to operate. However, please note that some services may be affected by engineering works.
