A fault with the signalling system at London Waterloo East is causing disruption to journeys running through this station.
As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.
We anticipate disruption will continue until 11:30.
What's happened?
A fault with the signalling system near London Waterloo East means trains towards London are only able to run through platform D.
Response staff are investigating the cause of the fault in order to resolve it as quickly as possible. To assist them carrying out this work, after 10:30 some lines will be blocked in the area to reduce the number of trains running on the affected line.
How does this affect my journey?
Services towards London Charing Cross may be delayed by up to 15 minutes as a result of one of the lines through London Waterloo East being blocked.
Between 10:30 and 11:30, services from Tonbridge to London Charing Cross will be diverted to run to and from London Cannon Street, and services from Maidstone East to London Charing Cross will be diverted to run to and from London Victoria.
What do I need to do?
If your train is diverted, you can either change at London Bridge for alternative connections to and from London Waterloo East and London Charing Cross, or use London Underground services at no extra cost between our terminal stations.
