There is a signalling fault in the Sheffield area, closing some lines at this station.
As a result of this, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes, revised or diverted.
This issue is expected to continue to impact services until 09:15.

Trains currently cannot operate between Sheffield and Meadowhall. Some services may be diverted via an alternative route. where services are diverted, Meadowhall will not be served.

- Alternative TransPennine Express services between Manchester Piccadilly and Leeds
- East Midlands Railway between Liverpool Lime Street and Sheffield
- LNER between Doncaster and Leeds
- Northern between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Oxford Road, and also between Doncaster and Leeds
Rail replacement transport will operate between Sheffield and Doncaster via Meadowhall. These will depart both Sheffield and Doncaster on the hour (XX:00) in place of cancelled train services.
Please note, journey times will be extended by up to 90 minutes when travelling using rail replacement transport.
