A fault with the signalling system at London Charing Cross means that service is disrupted.

Services at this station may be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 14:00.

What's happened?

A fault with the signalling system has been reported at Charing Cross. In order to access certain platforms, drivers of some trains are needing to stop at signals and contact the signaller to gain authority to move past the signal, causing delays.

To allow access for staff to investigate, the lines at London Charing Cross will be blocked from 12:00 for approximately 15 minutes.

How does this affect my journey?

Services running to/from London Charing Cross are likely to be delayed. The following service alterations will apply:

  • Services between London Charing Cross and Maidstone East, and services between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate / Dover via Ashford will both run to / from Victoria
  • Services between London Charing Cross and Hastings will run to / from London Bridge
  • Services between London Charing Cross and Dartford / Hayes / Sevenoaks will run to / from London Cannon Street
