A fire at a property close to the railway in the Cross Gates area is disrupting services that run through Leeds station. Services may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 45 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 11:00.

Northern

You can use your ticket on LNER services between Leeds and Doncaster / York.

If you are travelling to / from Bradford you are advised to use Bradford Interchange as this route is not affected by the issue.

Additional information:

The emergency services and Network Rail are responding to an incident of a fire close to the railway. For safety reasons the power to the overhead electric wires has been switched off in the area and this currently means that only diesel trains are able to operate to / from Leeds station.

Additionally, all lines between Leeds and Micklefield are blocked which is impacting services including those arriving from depots for the start of service.
