Due to a tree obstructing the railway, train services are unable to run between Huyton and Wigan North Western in both directions.
Network Rail are attending the site.
First services affected are:
13:37, Liverpool Lime Street to Blackpool North is being diverted via Newton-le-Willows and will stop additionally at St Helens Junction. It will no longer stop at Kirkham & Wesham and Poulton-le-Fylde.
14:15, Liverpool Lime Street to Wigan North Western is being diverted via Newton-le-Willows and will stop additionally at St Helens Junction.
14:21, Wigan North Western to Liverpool Lime Street is being diverted via Newton-le-Willows and will stop additionally at St Helens Junction.
14:37, Liverpool Lime Street to Blackpool North will start at Wigan North Western.
Replacement Transport:
Road replacement transport has been requested to operate between Huyton & Wigan North Western in both directions.
