AÂ fault with the signalling system between Swanley and Otford means lines are disrupted. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.
We expect this to continue until the end of the day.
What's happened?
A signalling problem has occurred near Otford, which is causing delays to trains towards Maidstone.  Response staff from Network Rail are investigating, but won't be able to repair the fault until train s have stopped running tonight.
There has also been a report of a track defect near Eynsford, which is causing further delays to services in the affected area.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains from London towards Maidstone East may be delayed between Swanley and Otford, by up to 30 minutes.
Trains towards London are not affected.
What do I need to do?
You can still travel on trains on our Maidstone East route, but please allow extra time for your journey tonight.
