Line closed between Sleaford and Spalding.
What has happened?
There is fault with the barriers at between Sleaford and Spalding. This is disrupting East Midlands Railway trains on the Lincoln / Peteborough / Doncaster route.
Network Rail are sending a team to site, they are estimated to arrived in the next hour. We don't currently have an estimate as to when the line will reopen.Â
How does this affect my train?
Trains are running through the area between Sleaford and Spalding, however they will be delayed because of the fault with the barriers. Please be prepared for short notice cancellations and delays and check your journey before you travel.
As soon as the problem is fixed the priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again.
 How do I get where I need to be?
You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by 45 minutes. We are sorry for the delay to your journey today.

The bus will leave Peterborough at 17:10 calling at Spalding, Sleaford, Ruskington, Metheringham and Lincoln Central.
