A points failure at Dore & Totley is disrupting trains that run between Sheffield and Stockport / Chesterfield. Services may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 40 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 09:00.

What has happened?

There is a points failure at Dore between Sheffield and Stockport and is disrupting trains on the Liverpool / Nottingham / Norwich and Sheffield / London St Pancras International routes.

Network Rail are going to investigate the problem. They are expected to arrive shortly.

How does this affect my train?

Trains running through the area in the Stockport direction cannot run between Sheffield and Stockport. This will also impact some of our trains on our London Intercity route between Sheffield and Chesterfield.

Trains running through the area in the Sheffield direction will run normally between Stockport and Sheffield however we currently have no trains expected.

How do I get where I need to be?

Teams are currently looking at alternative arrangements to keep you on the move. Please remember that this can take time and be assured staff are working tirelessly to arrange this as quickly as possible for you.
