Disruption between Peterborough and Spalding.

What has happened?

A safety inspection of the track is required between Peterborough and Spalding. This is disrupting trains on the Peterborough / Lincoln / Doncaster route.

Network Rail have advised the line needs to be visually inspected by engineers. We are currently waiting for them to arrive on site, they are expected to arrive at 18:00.

How does this affect my train?

Trains running through the area in both direction cannot run between Peterborough and Spalding.

If you are travelling this afternoon please ensure you check your journey before you travel.

At present we are expecting the problem to be fixed in the next 2 hours. As soon as the problem is fixed, priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. We expect advertised timetables to resume on the affected routes by 19:30.

How do I get where I need to be?

You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by 60 minutes.

Replacement buses have been arranged at Peterborough and Spalding to help keep you on the move.

A Coaches of Langtoft bus will be at Spalding at approximately 17:30. This will run direct to Peterborough.

A Folwers Coach will be at Peterborough at approximately 17:30. This will run direct to Spalding, connections to Lincoln / Doncaster can be made from there.
