A failure of the electricity supply between London Charing Cross and London Bridge means lines are disrupted. As a result, trains between these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

What's happened?

A failure of the electricity supply near Waterloo East means that some lines to and from London Charing Cross are blocked. This means trains are unable to use platforms 1 to 3 at London Charing Cross while staff investigate the issue.

Staff are on site and are investigating the cause of the issues, in order to restore the electricity supply as quickly as possible.

How does this affect my journey?

Services to and from London Charing Cross will be delayed, and some trains will be diverted to run to/from alternative London terminal stations, in order to reduce the number of trains running through the affected area.

Services will be amended as follows, and further revisions may also be possible:

• Services between Maidstone East and London Charing Cross will be diverted to run to/from London Victoria.
• Services between Hastings and London Charing Cross will run between Hastings and London Bridge only.
• Services between Ramsgate/Dover and London Charing Cross via Tonbridge will be diverted to run to/from Cannon Street.
