Following a points failure at Finsbury Park all lines between Finsbury Park and London Kings Cross / Moorgate have now opened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled or delayed. This is expected until 15:00.
Customer Advice:
Please allow extra time to complete your journey this afternoon. Our teams are working to get services back to the booked timetable, but delays may still occur at this time.
If you find your train is cancelled, then you may want to consider using London Underground as an alternative. Your tickets are being accepted at no additional cost.
Can you tell me more about the incident?
We were advised of a points failure in the Finsbury Park area. This failure meant only one platform was available for trains travelling northbound and also that trains could not run from the Moorgate line to Finsbury Park.
Network Rail engineers have attended and managed to fix the fault so trains can now run on all lines.
