A tree is blocking the railway between Fareham and Southampton Central meaning some lines are currently blocked.
As a result of this, trains may be cancelled, diverted or delayed by up to 30 minutes. Disruption is expected until 06:30.
Southern Customer Advice:
Trains are unable to run between Fareham and Southampton Central via Swanwick. This is due to a tree on the line in the Hamble area.
Southern services will be running as far as Fareham, instead of Southampton Central, and returning towards Brighton or London Victoria from there.
Alternative routes are limited in this area, especially for Swanwick and other stations via Netley. You will be able to travel between Fareham and Southampton Central by using the line via Eastleigh.
You may also need to change trains to do this, and your journey is likely to take at least 30 minutes longer than usual.
