Urgent repairs to the railway between Crayford and Hither Green means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be delayed or diverted. This is expected until 13:00.
What's happened?
Network Rail engineers have found a fault with the rail that provides power to our trains at Crayford.  To allow repairs to the rail to be made, Trains towards London are unable to run on the Sidcup line.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains between Gravesend /Â Â Dartford and Charing Cross via Sidcup are being diverted to run via Bexleyheath.
Trains in the other direction towards Dartford and Gravesend are not affected and are running normally.
What do I need to do?
If your train has been diverted, you can use London Buses at no extra cost between stations on the Sidcup line and an alternative station on the Bexleyheath, Woolwich or Grove Park lines to continue your journey.
Alternatively if you are travelling from any of the stations below and are travelling to London, you can take a train towards Dartford, and change at Dartford for services to London Bridge, Charing Cross or Cannon Street.
- Lee
- Mottingham
- New Eltham
- Sidcup
- Albany Park
- Bexley
- Crayford.
If you are travelling to one of the stations listed above, and your train is no longer able to stop there you can change at Lewisham for a train back to your destination.
